These water lilies are so pretty Wendy! I love the view of overall pond (the big picture) with so many lilies on the water. It's a rare opportunity for me to see such a beautiful place. Thanks for posting! I enjoyed looking at the photos very much.
ReplyDeleteI think your dad sees this place all the time and enjoying his garden like normal. Perhaps, for him, a close up of the flower with all the details shown in clear and big way will be quite unusual. As it is now, I probably would fall into the pond for wanting to see those small details of the flower :-D
A series of three would be great. But then I have a thing for series photos.

ReplyDeleteI think giving the pictures to your dad as presents sounds like a great idea. I gave my parents framed pictures I took of castle gardens on my trip overseas and they really liked them.
Thanks for your ideas. I did end up doing a series. Found a great frame at target with 2 panes of glass so I could do a sort of collage. I think it will look great!

Wendy, your father's garden blows me away. I love the shot of the geese, but a couple of those close-ups of the water lily flowers looked so much like Georgia O'Keefe paintings to me. Just gorgeous!
