  1. Those are pretty things in your garden. I love that pretty purple bell-shaped flower. Is that Clematis 'Rooguchi'?

  2. You sure have lots of pretty things in your garden (BTW, I love post without much words. I should do that more often too!)

Those Astilbe flowers are so pretty, and your lily is sure very tall! What are those purple ball shaped flowers? So beautiful!

  3. wow...pretty indeed.
Seeing your daylily plant - they are quite tall.

I wondered if you thought of cutting all these flowers and place them in a vase.
(lol) - sounds cruel isn't it?
Especially if you have to wait for ages to get them to bloom.

  4. Cool plants for early summer! The 7 words got me--I took it as a little floral quiz. I got a few, but missed lots of others!

  5. Your combo planters are beautiful (the black square planter and those at the window)!

The plant in the picture above the picture of the black square planter that has flowers in cone shape in deep purple is really pretty. Is it a grass? I like its curly stem/leaves as well. Is the stem strong?

  6. WOW, Wendy! How big is your garden?? Love the fresh lettuce and the rose is absolutely healthy and beautiful. I have nasty bugs eating on my rose bush. I need to find some ways to get rid of them!

  10. Wendy, you have so much colour in your garden this time of year, mine is a bit green. Must get more plants!!!

  11. Thanks all for visiting!!

Carol, it is rooguchi. I love it - a clematis that thrives in full shade! Can't beat that.

Ami and Stephanie - the purple balls are drumstick allium. I just love alliums. They're so long lasting and eye-catching. And the stem IS strong. I know because my 5 year old tries to pick it every day and it doesn't come out!

Rosebelle - the benefit of blog photos is that you don't see all the horrible looking roses that didn't make the cut. ;)

James - The little hydrangea bloom is the first I've seen since I planted the shrub 4 years ago! I will definitely not be cutting it! :)

  14. Great photos, Wendy. I love the red-veined sorrel fanning out.

Perhaps it's time to face facts. All the "ish" is wiped away from your undisputed GREEN thumb. Time to change your blog name. LOL.

I just read your words about comments to my husband so he could chuckle with me.

My awesome gardening friends...thanks for leaving a comment! I don't typically repond here, but I love knowing who you are so I can visit your blog as well.

btw - if you're trying to show me nude Miley Cyrus photos, sell me nikes or viagra or antibiotics, or encourage my lovely garden readers to visit your site on solar panel construction, or seo-whatevers, sorry, but I'm not publishing your comment. If you want to moderate my blog - well, I can't keep you too busy, and the pay would be horrible. And lastly, no. I'm not interested in Club Penguin cheat codes. Thanks anyway.
