I love it - a clematis that thrives in full shade! Can&#39;t beat that. <br /><br />Ami and Stephanie - the purple balls are drumstick allium. I just love alliums. They&#39;re so long lasting and eye-catching. And the stem IS strong. I know because my 5 year old tries to pick it every day and it doesn&#39;t come out!<br /><br />Rosebelle - the benefit of blog photos is that you don&#39;t see all the horrible looking roses that didn&#39;t make the cut. ;)<br /><br />James - The little hydrangea bloom is the first I&#39;ve seen since I planted the shrub 4 years ago!
