Got a match?

...neither do I. But I do have these cute little matchbooks containing seeds. I wish I could say I came up with this ridiculously creative gem myself, but I followed the guru herself (or at least her team of gurus), Martha. Here are directions if you'd like to make these adorable seed packets, originally intended to be wedding favors.

Readers who responded to my giveaway last week (now closed) will receive their packages in the mail soon!

  1. The cost of one clear bag is considered expensive for me. Nonetheless, it really makes a nice seed bag :-D

  3. How did I miss your blogaversary. Congrats.

These seed packets are very cute. I have seen seeds favors at weddings before and these are a very cute way to present them.

  4. Hey Wendy!

Looks like your summer is a prolific season thus far.

My favorite Chinese dish is a spicy eggplant stir fry.

T has about 3 small asian eggplants near ready to harvest at the allotment. Not nearly enough for a meal, but it's a start;~D

  5. I helped make my brother's wedding favors last year and let me tell you, it was not easy task! Everything just looked so simple at first glance and thought but once you started making them, ugghhhh! Not so easy. I think Martha Stewart is such a clever and creative woman.

My awesome gardening friends...thanks for leaving a comment! I don't typically repond here, but I love knowing who you are so I can visit your blog as well.

btw - if you're trying to show me nude Miley Cyrus photos, sell me nikes or viagra or antibiotics, or encourage my lovely garden readers to visit your site on solar panel construction, or seo-whatevers, sorry, but I'm not publishing your comment. If you want to moderate my blog - well, I can't keep you too busy, and the pay would be horrible. And lastly, no. I'm not interested in Club Penguin cheat codes. Thanks anyway.
