May your stocking be filled!

Friends: Have you been good this year? Here's hoping your stocking will be filled with the $60 pruners you've always wanted, seed catalogs with gift certificates attached, a bag of heirloom tulip bulbs, new garden clogs, a container of worm castings, a bottle of Sluggo, and the most gigantic flowering amaryllis bulb you've ever seen. Happy holidays to all, and to all a good night!

  1. Save for Sluggo, I like the rest of the things too Wendy! And yes, may your stocking be filled! But, for me, no stockings. I will find my gifts under my white plastic tree he he... Have a very merry Christmas yeah.

  2. Wendy, do have a good rest. May you have a wonderful Christmas and receive your dream presents!

P/S, regarding Dong Zhi (Winter Solstice Festival), later when you have time, you can check out my post titled "Rose, Rose, I Love You" I have a picture of the tang yuan. Maybe it rings a bell. I think Southerners in China eat tang yuan (rice flour balls) while Northerners eat kau chi (stuffed dumplings).

  6. Hi Wendy, Were you wishfully musing or did you peak inside your stocking to see what hubby/Santa left there and hoping your faithful readers fared as well? LOL. I "got" [code for I-saw-and-bought-for-myself-because-it-was-on-sale-and-I-wanted-to-save-my-loved-ones-the-trouble] a wireless, digital, outdoor thermometer. This way I can track the low nighttime temps. ... It was a great Christmas for us. For you as well, I trust. Your daughter is the quintessential angelic cherub. Looks like she was leaving cookies for Santa.

  9. Turns out Santa likes Jello jigglers more than cookies!

Sadly, my stocking was not filled with anything I had visions of. I did get a couple of CDs that are the "soundtrack" of my youth though. Happy new year to you all!!

My awesome gardening friends...thanks for leaving a comment! I don't typically repond here, but I love knowing who you are so I can visit your blog as well.

btw - if you're trying to show me nude Miley Cyrus photos, sell me nikes or viagra or antibiotics, or encourage my lovely garden readers to visit your site on solar panel construction, or seo-whatevers, sorry, but I'm not publishing your comment. If you want to moderate my blog - well, I can't keep you too busy, and the pay would be horrible. And lastly, no. I'm not interested in Club Penguin cheat codes. Thanks anyway.
