My heart skipped two beats today- once when 2 dozen white roses were delivered to my office, and for the second time when my husband told me how much he'd spent on this gorgeous bouquet.
Bonus points he didn't even know he'd earn: good timing. Here's my GBBD contribution!
The only flowers blooming around here are cut and in a vase, but take a look to see what else is blooming around the world today at May Dreams Gardens.
Does he have any brothers? My sister is single;) Gorgeous flowers.

How sweet! I have not seen such lovely and beautiful white roses before. Just good timing for GBBD? Your birthday? Aniversary?
ReplyDeleteWow! These roses are lovely. Your smile and happiness will be worth his effort. How romantic of him! I can see that you are really the most special person in his life. The first bouquet My Dear gave to me during our courting days, I pressed the dried leaves and used it as a bookmark. Before that I asked him to write me a message first.
ReplyDeleteLovely flowers... but its worth reminding him not to come up with surprises too often. Skipping heart beats is worrying, Wendy... haha.

Beautiful! You're a lucky girl :-)
ReplyDeleteWendy, what did he do, or more to the point, what did you do? they are gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAren't they perfect?
ReplyDeleteYes, I should definitely require a note in addition! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is our anniversary - you might remember we just went to St. Michael's in Sept for our wedding anniversary. THis is the anniversary of when we started going out! 20 years. geez. 2 comments - that a lot of years, and I'm old.
Hi Wendy, Happy Anniversary!! I agree. Twenty years is a long time. And twenty white roses is a well deserved extravagance. Here's to twenty more, at least.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I met in 1978 and we'll celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary in August. Time just flies. I'll have to drop a few not so subtle hints about roses. :)
The anniversary of when you started going out? Aww! Your husband might be evan sappier than mine! :) Beautiful flowers and a beautiful gesture.
ReplyDelete20 years! congrats, and let's hope you're both around for at least another 20 years.
ReplyDeleteWho wouldn't trade a garden full of blooms for a husband like yours? And that's saying a lot, coming from a gardener. Happy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteHi Wendy,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! My husband and I used to celebrate the day we started going steady. I'm thinking it's February 9th.
Those roses sure are pretty! I'm not surprised at the cost. My daughter is a floral designer at a grocery store, where a lot of people like to go, and they do a lot of weddings. I've looked at the price tags on some of the arrangements they have in the cooler. Whew!
Wow...
ReplyDeleteThose roses are so white & immaculate!
Blessed Anniversary!
