I planted the common variety about ten years ago. They seed out great, a little too great for some. But I have been weeding out the yellow and red to leave the burgundies and the orange and reds.Sylvanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13186604429680496847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6102266899310858136.post-36699879683231982202009-08-18T16:58:20.242-04:002009-08-18T16:58:20.242-04:00I am sure the magnolia is magnificent, but it is y...I am sure the magnolia is magnificent, but it is your photo that turns it into a work of art...akin to a Georgia O'Keefe painting.ricki - sprig to twighttp://bannersbyricki.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6102266899310858136.post-88058739375533378082009-08-18T16:02:08.094-04:002009-08-18T16:02:08.094-04:00Muhammad, the yellow gaillardia on your blog is ve...Muhammad, the yellow gaillardia on your blog is very interesting!Wendyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04232693432045335251noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6102266899310858136.post-53652504360005948112009-08-17T12:48:48.555-04:002009-08-17T12:48:48.555-04:00I have a magnolia tree in the front yard that I sm...I have a magnolia tree in the front yard that I smell every morning before I go to work. It's really really fragrant, but not an overwhelming one like an oriental lily. It's not musky at all. Just a nice perfume. Not like a rose at all, but that sort of thing - sweet.
