I love the way the different colored mums mingle with each other in one of your photos. I just have a clump of pink ones. My past experience with mums has been that they either get too spready, or else don't live more than a couple seasons. My husband is enjoying the mums he sees around town, and is requesting that I plant more. I'll have to look into planting some together like the ones in the photo.

Thanks for your reply to my vent. It helped to do that, and now, it doesn't come to mind much. I have applied to be a monarch waystation, so will probably end up with a sign in my garden after all. LOL

Autumn Belle, I actually really like chrysanthemum tea as well - always have it with dim sum. I guess it's probably a special type though, right?

Lynn - it's hen and chicks - a little wierd looking in the pots, but in the ground and separated, looks quite nice. Can't wait for them to spread.

Wendy, I love to see these chrysanthemums and can't seem to get enough of them. Here, in South East Asia, mums are used to make flower garlands and cut flowers for prayers and decorations. We even drink chrysanthemum tea. I am looking forward to see more of these pictures from your dad's garden. Until then, have a great weekend!
